MANUFACTURED IN AUSTRALIA
TEKTON INNOVATION
At Tekton we don't subscribe to the old adage of "Heavy equals Strong".
We believe in utilising cutting edge design, engineering and material technologies.
The Tekton chassis, suspension and body, have all been engineered autonomously.

LIGHT WEIGHT. STRENGTH. DURABLE.
ENGINEERED
CHASSIS & SUSPENSION
The Tekton chassis is certified engineered (FEA Tested), manufactured autonomously from the body. Designed for strength and to be lightweight. Able to withstand the toughest terrain Australia has to offer.

The Tekton chassis has been designed, engineered & manufactured with single chassis rails that have no joins (run from the front to the back of the chassis). We use the latest laser/CNC processes.

We are able to eliminate the normal traditional chassis, found under caravans that use plywood flooring. By utilising a 30mm fibreglassed composite structural floor panel, with our unique monocoque/unibody design, we have created a lightweight and strong chassis able to withstand the Australian outback.

We believe that by using an all in one single rail chassis and drawbar, we enhance articulation, ramp over and departure angles. This allows you to discover places others can only dream of.

The suspension under the Tekton is Teko 'Tuff Ride' independent suspension (FEA Tested) with airbag suspension & dual shocks on every arm, the suspension can be raised & lowered by the press of a button and self level to achieve the smoothest ride on the most uneven terrain (close to 200mm).

The suspension has energy mitigation technology (EMT) which reduces the force on the chassis by up to 37.5%.
All suspension systems are compatible with disc brakes, which are lighter & more efficient.

All Tekton chassis are coupled with a DO-35 off-road hitch, designed for maximum articulation. Stud patterns are also configurable so we can match your tow vehicle to ensure that all your wheels are interchangeable.

INNOVATION
COMPACT FOOTPRINT
Our innovation stems from the desire to reduce the trailers overall foot print without compromise to the internal size.

Creating a compact, light weight vehicle. Enhancing its on/off-road dynamics.
Some might say it is 'revolutionary' we says it is 'evolutionary'.
Utilising our innovative & exclusive proprietary design we believe we have achieved this.
While at the same time we have created an aerodynamic & functional expedition vehicle that has no boundaries.
AERODYNAMIC
BODY CONSTRUCTION
All our vehicles have been built with a purpose, both body & chassis have been designed, engineered & manufactured autonomously neither reliant on each other.
The body has been designed & developed to be aerodynamically efficient. Not only does this provide beautiful aesthetics, it also helps fuel economy, manoeuvrability & tow ability.

The Tekton composite 30mm body panels including walls, roof & floor are manufactured in Australia with 25mm German XPS Foam & Italian fibreglass sheeting.

All Tekton vehicles feature our unique monocoque/unibody design with no joins & built as one sealed unit.

The bodies on the Tekton are highly energy & thermal efficient, due to the
30mm composite fibreglass/XPS foam panels and monocoque construction.
Allows you to keep the caravan warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

Unlike traditional caravans, the Tekton has three major points of sealing & we do not use silicone for sealing purposes.

The body is chemically bonded & sealed with specialised automotive adhesives/sealants. (This product is used to put together cars in the automotive industry and is tried & tested). To ensure a high torsional strength when joining panels together.

Unlike other manufacturers who rely on internal cabinetry to support and strengthen the body, we do not rely on this as our body is designed to support itself. Our cabinetry is installed once the body is complete.

Once the panels have been chemically fastened we further seal the joins creating a monocoque structure. Not only are these joins aesthetically pleasing they serve dual purpose in the fact that they help streamline the vehicle, further helping its aerodynamic benefits.

All Tekton bodies are coated with a urethane protective coating which includes exterior walls, roof and floor. This provides a tough & durable surface, which is scratch resistant, dirt repellant & UV resistant which means no deterioration or fading. Providing additional sealing for the entire body.

The benefits of our unique monocoque/unibody design, is that it is strong, light weight, and aerodynamic, providing better fuel efficiency, manoeuvrability & tow ability while ensuring better ride dynamics & higher safety when towing.
PRECISION ENGINEERING
WHEN BODY MEETS CHASSIS
One of the key construction elements of the Tekton is that the body and chassis are designed, engineered & manufactured separately.

The two then meet to become a monocoque/unibody construction. Just like the most dependable four wheel drives.

The important element of this lies in the joining of the two entities.

The body is lowered onto the chassis and secured with specialised automotive adhesives and subsequently mechanically attached in specific locations to complete the process.

This achieves a very strong product whereby all stresses to the chassis & body are distributed.

Due to the body not being as reliant on heavy chassis steel rails, like traditional body on frame caravans, we are able to significantly cut weights by up to 50%.

This provides advantages resulting in better fuel economy and dynamic performance.
LUXURY
At Tekton we take the interior design very seriously, as it needs to meet requirements that include functionality and the feeling of space, but at the same time feel warm and inviting.
Everything is carefully designed to accommodate all the things required on your travels and placed in locations that fit your needs.

All our cabinetry is composite stylite, using the latest CNC processes to create perfect fitment to all our cabinetry.

All our cabinetry features premium hardware, hinges & latches.
All our cabinetry is chemically & mechanically fastened to the floor, walls & celling.
